One Lord Teaching Ministry Statement of Faith

The Disciples of One Lord Teaching Ministry Believe:

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and we accept it as the only infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine.

There is one God, eternally existent in three Persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Creator of all things.

In the deity of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, in His virgin birth, His sinless life, in His miracles, that He was crucified, died, was buried and on the third day resurrected, ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father.

In eternal life and the new birth. In the personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

That Salvation is a Process that Begins with Confession and leads to a life of Righteousness through the renewing of the Mind with the Word of God. (Romans 10:9-10, 1 Peter 1:3-9, John 6:39-44

That Sanctification or a New Birth is required to enter into Heaven’s gates. (John 3: 3-8, John 6:53-58 and 1 John 3:9-10)

In the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. (Isaiah 53:5)

In the Lord's Supper.

In water baptism by immersion for all who believe and repent.

In the baptism in the Holy Spirit subsequent to a clean heart; in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in ALL the Gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the Fruit of the Spirit.

In the Christian's hope of the Second Coming, personal return of Jesus Christ.

In the Unification of the Faith into One Body before the Return of Jesus Christ creating the “Perfected Bride.” (John 17:20-23, Ephesians 1:10, Ephesians 4:1-16 and Rev. 19:6-9)

In the Holy Spirit Directed Construction of the Third Temple of God built to receive Jesus Christ at His Second Coming.(Psalm 24, Isaiah 2:2-3, Micah 4: 1-2 and Ezekiel 48:35 and Malachi 3:1)

In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.

In the Rapture of the Church that will PROCEED the Seven years of Tribulation. (Luke 17:24, Luke 19:15, Daniel 12:1-3, Malachi 3:17, Matt 24:31, 2 Thess 2:3 and Rev 3:10-11)

In the Millennial Reign of “The Raptured Bride Of Christ” on this Earth for 1000 years. (Malachi 4:17-18, Malachi 4:2-3)

In a New Heaven and a New Earth that will replace the current heaven and earth. (John 14:1-3 and Rev 21:1-3)
